La Vuelta

TRAILHello everyone, this is Glenn Richard, promoter of Vuelta d’ Acadiana. We are currently in the final  planning phases of this race. Some of the major changes I want to communicate to everyone is: this years race has been moved up to April 16th-17th, this race will count for points within the TXBRA circuit (Welcome Texas Racers), the Criterium start times have moved up one hour, the road races’ registration, start time, feed zone placement, overall distances, and course have slightly changed for 2016. We are happy to announce that Bayou Fusilier Road (really rough road at the first left turn) has been bypassed. The venue is meant to be travel friendly – meaning you can wake up at a decent time on Saturday morning – travel to Lafayette with one bike with your buds – race the criterium that afternoon – get a good nights rest – do the road race the next morning and head home before lunch! Thank you

I believe that man will not merely endure. He will prevail. He is immortal, not because he alone among creatures has an inexhaustible voice, but because he has a soul, a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance.
