Hello everyone, this is Glenn Richard, promoter of Vuelta d’ Acadiana. We are currently in the final planning phases of this race. Some of the major changes I want to communicate to everyone is: this years race has been moved up to March 25th and 26th, 2017. Aside from the date, the format will remain the same as last year. The venue is meant to be travel friendly – meaning you can wake up at a decent time on Saturday morning – travel to Lafayette with one bike with your buds – race the criterium that afternoon – get a good nights rest – do the road race the next morning and head home before lunch!
TRAIL presents the 10th annual La Vuelta d’ Acadiana in Lafayette and Arnaudville, LA.
When: Saturday March 25th and Sunday March 26th, 2017.
Race Format: Omnium
Events: Saturday Afternoon Criterium, and Sunday Morning Road Race.
La Vuelta d’ Acadiana is derived from a loose French and Spanish translation as “the short voyage of Acadiana”. It is a 2 day competitive road bicycle race consisting of 2 events; a Saturday afternoon Criterium, and Sunday morning Road Race. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you for the race.
